W internecie pojawiają się już pierwsze pogłoski na temat ekranizacji trzeciej części sagi, czyli Eclipse. Oto niektóre z nich:

- film trafi na ekrany amerykańskich kin 30 czerwca 2010 roku

- autorką scenariusza będzie ponownie Melissa Rosenberg

- możliwe, że do obsady dołączy Channing Tatum. Rosenberg stwierdziła, że według niej nadaje się do roli Riley'a

- reżyserią zajmie się Dave Slade

Zawsze trzeba myśleć pozytywnie, prawda?
Ja czytałam wypowiedź, tylko nie pamiętam czy Meyer czy reżysera NM, o tym dlaczego tak szybko po KwN ma się pojawić Zaćmienie. Odpowiedź była prosta - przecież wampiry się nie starzeją, natomiast nasi aktorzy tak, musimy się spieszyć, bo nie przystoi by wampiry miały zmarszczki. Tak to mniej więcej szło. Nie mogę znaleźć artykułu by zacytować dokładnie.

No bez przesady, taki 25-26-letni Pattinson nie będzie miał przecież zmarszczek. Tak samo dwudziestokilkuletnia Stewart, nie wspominając o Lautnerze.

Casting for Eclipse: Leah Clearwater, Seth, Riley, Wolf Pack

There are some new auditions for New Moon sequel Eclipse coming up soon–including the roles of Riley, Seth Clearwater and Leah Clearwater. Also up for grabs is various members of the La Push wolf pack:

Leah Clearwater: Female, 19 years of age. Seth’s big sister, and the only female member of La Push wolf pack: “She is tall and slender with beautiful skin and short cropped black hair. She would be considered gorgeous if not for the perpetual scowl she carries due to a broken heart and her anger issues.”

Seth Clearwater: Male, 15-16 years of age is a “tall, gangly-limbed boy with a huge, happy grin, Seth idolizes Jacob.” Black hair, lean muscle type, think swimmer type body.

Riley: Male 19-21. Good looking, blond, clean-cut, muscular college guy who falls victim to Victoria. He’s in his early to mid 20s and Riley was a newborn that was created by Victoria to act as the leader of her recently formed newborn army. He accompanies Victoria in her attempt to murder Bella Swan.

There will also be additional members of the La Push wolf pack and Quileute tribe cast in Eclipse. Like New Moon, they are looking for Native American or First Nations actors ONLY to fill these roles - no actors who “look like they could be” Native American or First Nations people.

Eclipse Schedule Not Finalized; Casting Maria, Bree and Royce King

There are reports that Eclipse will begin filming in August, but no exact date is set in stone yet. The filming schedule is “still being drafted” according to Lainey Gossip. Also according to Lainey, the following characters have been added to the casting calls:

Maria-”Maria found Jasper during the Southern vampire wars. At this point, Jasper was a major in the Confederate Army, and Maria was looking for humans that she could turn to vampires to create a newborn army, using the idea pioneered by Benito. After turning Jasper, she found that he was extremely useful to her, because he was able to control the emotions of the vampires around him, and make them work together. In Eclipse, Maria is described as a tiny brunette with a soft and musical voice that has a tendency to be sharp. She was able to control her thirst, though she still preyed humans’ blood. ”

Bree -”Bree was created by Victoria as part of her newborn vampire army to avenge James’ death. She never saw Victoria, as her “assistant”, Riley, was the one who told the newborns what to do. Bree was described as beautiful and slender with short dark hair to her chin and glowing blood red eyes. She was also very young, around the age of 15 and the height was around 5′1″ and 5′3″. When she screams Bree has a high, shrill voice.

Royce King–”Royce King II was a human who lived during the time of the Great Depression. He was engaged to Rosalie Hale for a short period of time before being killed by her. He is perceived as being quite out-spoken but is liked by Rosalie because of her vanity.” [3]

Po zamieszaniu z New Moon nie poczekamy długo na następne plotki i pogłoski z planu. Tym razem nie rozebrali nawet planu filmowego, tak jak to zrobili po zakończeniu zdjęć do Zmierzchu. Obiekty są chronione i czekają na pierwszy klaps na planie Zaćmienia.

Eclipse Rehearsals in August, Filming in September

Acting411 has some new info on the schedule of Eclipse, including news that rehearsals will begin in August and filming in late September–

Rehearsals are tentatively slated to begin August, 2009 with actual filming starting in late September, 2009. The release date for Eclipse has been announced as Wednesday, June 30, 2010.

Roles Currently Casting:

Royce King II: Male, late 20’s, out-spoken, comes from wealthy family. He was a human who lived during the time of the Great Depression. He was engaged to Rosalie Hale for a short period of time.

“The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” is scheduled to begin production on August 17th and film thru October 31st at Vancouver Film Studios.

W pierwszym poście tego tematu podawałam, że odtwórcą roli Riley'a będzie Channing Tatum. Kilka dni temu pojawiła się plotka, że będzie to jednak Tom Felton, czyli aktor wcielający się w postać Dracona Malfoy'a w serii o Harrym Potterze. Okazuje się jednak, że obie informacje były błędne - Riley'em zostanie Xavier Samuel, którego zdjęcie wklejam poniżej. Jest to podobno oficjalnie potwierdzona informacja.
